Hi, I’m Rita, an illustrator working under the pseudonym Bellequinoxe. A few months ago, I created Kamie, a charming red panda avatar who shares the everyday struggles and joys of a creative mind.
My journey hasn’t been simple. I’ve struggled with organization and procrastination, navigating photography, music, and now illustration. Defining my priorities, balancing my personal life, and being on the road for most of the year has been nothing short of a puzzle.
Especially since I wasn’t always a natural at drawing. I pursued art studies, but my teachers weren’t exactly encouraging about my abilities.
But life being what it is, here I am today, spending most of my time drawing. A big thanks to those who doubted my skills – your disbelief pushed me to develop the stubbornness to follow my passion, even when it frustrated anyone trying to steer me off course.
Kamie’s relatable stories, illustrated and animated, have found a growing community of like-minded souls.
